Strava overlay generator

Draw your route, tune the stats, and download a transparent running or cycling sticker for Instagram Stories. No account, no upload, no Strava connection.

Draw at least two points on the map. The orange route trace in the sticker comes directly from the route you create here.

From route to Story

  1. 01Click the map to draw your activity. Auto-snap follows real roads and paths while distance and elevation update live.
  2. 02Set the pace or finish time, then choose the sticker style, colours, shadow, labels, and fakepace.run watermark.
  3. 03Download the transparent PNG and place it over any photo in Instagram Stories.

A transparent overlay built in your browser

The map supplies only the route geometry, distance, and terrain elevation. Fakepace draws the statistics and route trace as vectors on a transparent canvas in your browser; your photo never leaves your device because it is never uploaded here.

The Classic preset follows the familiar vertical stats-sticker hierarchy while using the fakepace.run wordmark. This tool does not connect to the Strava API and the downloaded image never contains a Strava logo or wordmark.

FAQ

Is the Strava overlay generator free?
Yes. Drawing the route, customising the sticker, and downloading the transparent PNG are free and require no account.
Is the downloaded PNG really transparent?
Yes. The file is an RGBA PNG with no background, ready to place over a light or dark photo in Instagram Stories.
Does this connect to my Strava account?
No. You draw the route here and enter the pace or time yourself. Fakepace does not use your Strava account or the Strava API.
Can I make a cycling overlay?
Yes. Choose Ride and the middle statistic changes from pace to elevation gain, matching the usual cycling sticker layout.
Why does the image say fakepace.run?
The optional watermark identifies the tool that created the PNG. You can turn it off before downloading.
